Day 2 - Organisational market

Today was the official start of the project activities. First presentation of the project was made by us, Amber Initiatives. We introduced the project, its aims and then we spoke a little bit about the house rules and what is before us.

Participants were asked to make a list of their expectations, fears and hopes for future, related to either project goals or their own future. During the organisational market, the participants in groups introduced themselves, what they do and how this exchange will help them in the future. Some participants come from specific organisations, so we also asked them to tell us more about the organisations and about work they do.

Later that evening, we took our participants’ for a Historical English Heritage tour around Plymouth. Plymouth city has a lot of history to offer – from Spanish army invasion (and Drake heritage), to its Napoleon times, and to town importance during the Second World War. So, for fun and learning we came up with a team building game based in the historical part of Plymouth. Each group received a list of special objects or famous landmarks, and then they had to find them, document them and then share their finding between groups.
